Woodcraft Rangers Summer Learning Programs
Summer Learning Expands Opportunities For Youth
The Woodcraft Rangers’ NVISION summer learning programs in Rosemead, Whittier, and South Gate reinforce the knowledge and skills attained during the school year while infusing the Woodcraft legacy and traditions of camp. Children from 5-12 years of age can enroll in the programs at Open Bible Church in Rosemead, La Colima Elementary in Whittier, and South Gate Park. For $60/$50 per week, campers can enjoy a fun filled and academic day with breakfast and lunch meals included. Woodcraft Rangers’ summer camp operates daily from Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm up until August 7th.
The program serves the community as a reliable childcare for parents. Campers are engaged in enrichment programs such as robotics, drumline, performing arts, and more, offered through Woodcraft Rangers.
Customized Woodcraft Ranger curriculum, with infused science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) appeal to youth and enhances the engagement and interaction of the students. There are weekly themed activities, teambuilding exercises and field trips.
Keeping their legacy and traditions alive for over 95 years, summer programs run in over 8 locations throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Residential camp is also offered for youth 6-12 years old as they explore nature, science, and build leadership skills as they take a trip to Big Bear Lake.
