Woodcraft Rangers’ Danny Salas (CPO), Julee Brooks (CEO), and Darlington Ahaiwe (CFO), are being recognized as LABJ’s Leaders of Influence in Non-Profit and Philanthropy!

The Woodcraft leadership members have been selected to be featured in the upcoming 2024 Leaders of Influence: Nonprofit & Philanthropy section of the Los Angeles Business Journal. This recognition honors outstanding nonprofit leaders in Los Angeles County who are making a significant impact through their dedication and innovative approaches. This issue of the journal will be released on September 16th.

Under Julee’s guidance, Woodcraft Rangers has emerged as a leader in youth development, addressing critical challenges in education with innovative solutions. She has strategically aligned the agency’s vision with its mission, fostering a culture of equity and inclusion that prioritizes high-quality expanded learning experiences in a people-centered environment.

Danny continues to expand his oversight beyond traditional afterschool programs. Developing deep relationships with many community partners, Danny continues to strengthen connections and customize incredible programs to meet the unique needs of all school partners and their students in the various school communities across a vast Los Angeles.

A native Angeleno, Darlington combines his financial expertise with a deep commitment to youth empowerment, significantly impacting the community. His strategic financial planning ensures the agency’s long-term fiscal health and sustainability. In 2019, Darlington was also nominated for the Los Angeles Business Journal CFO Awards, highlighting his exemplary leadership and contributions to the city’s financial landscape.
