Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship Program
About Together Rising Los Angeles
Launched in 2024, the Together Rising Los Angeles (TRLA) Apprenticeship Program is an innovative initiative and the first registered apprenticeship in Southern California for early childhood educators and expanded learning teacher pathways.
TRLA nurtures the next generation of education professionals by providing participants with paid, hands-on learning and mentorship while they complete coursework with our community college partner, East Los Angeles College (ELAC). The program is sponsored by Early Care and Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS), who serves as our program intermediary.
While on their journey, apprentices are eligible to obtain California Child Development Teacher Permits, building a stronger foundation for their educational futures.
